A Transformed Mind
Renewing your mind and cultivating a Kingdom mindset is the single most important thing you must do after becoming a Christian. It’s a life-long process for the purpose of empowering us to become more than conquerors in this world. I love this quote by Myles Munroe–
“Religion prepares man to leave earth;
the Kingdom prepares man to dominate earth.”
I am writing for people who have heard the words of Scripture and truly want to live the Christian lifestyle but don’t really know how to make it real in their lives. I am writing for people who are stuck at memorizing the Word but can’t seem to get to the deeper meaning they know is there. I’m writing for people who are not satisfied with the status quo but who are hungry for more and more and more of the True and Living God–the One Who promised, “You shall know the Truth and the Truth will make you free.”
In this life there is so much deception. Yes, we have an enemy who specializes in lies, half truths, and all kinds of trickery, but we also have unrenewed minds that provide no defense against the wiles of the devil. We leave ourselves open to attack and defeat when we don’t know the Truth.
We want to live a victorious lifestyle, but we can’t seem to make the change. And that’s part of the problem. I once had a client who said she didn’t want to just make a change in her life, she wanted a transformation. She said something that changes can also change back. But when something is transformed it will remain transformed. Can a butterfly turn back into a caterpillar? No! It has been transformed.
Transformation is the goal in this place, in this time.
Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Romans 12:2 NLT
My name is Jo and I am a Light-giver! I want to shine the Light into the dark places in your life with the Truth of the Word of God and to empower you to live the Kingdom Lifestyle. The Kingdom message has been proclaimed loudly and clearly. He that hath an ear, let him hear! The Kingdom of God is here and now and YOU as a believer in Jesus Christ, have been granted unlimited access! Are you ready to go “All In?”
As a teacher, my heart is captured in a quote from author, Francis Frangipane. “The virtue of any teaching is in its ability to either equip you to do God’s will or to empower you to find God’s heart.” Those are my objectives in my ministry.
